BWiC is an online community created to provide support and resources aimed at increasing the number of black women and other underrepresented groups in computing-related fields. BWiC focuses on the following 4 areas: BWiC Presence, Recruitment and Retention, Online Resources, and Support Systems. The community maintains a private listserv (for members only) and social networking forums on Facebook and Twitter to keep members and supporters informed, connected and supported.
If you are a Black/African/African-American woman in a computing career field or area of study, then become a member by joining our private listserv.
